Cumming Home Ministries in Cumming, Georgia seeks to provide affordable housing and guidance to those individuals who are in transition and desiring to become financially self-sufficient within 6 months to 1 year.  The House of Hope and House of Faith are places of ministry where individuals will be cared for and trained in the way of Jesus Christ. 

Cumming Home Ministry’s Purpose – “Serve one another in love...” Gal. 5:13

1. To provide temporary housing for those who, for whatever reason, have no place to live, and who are willing to live in a Christian environment.
2. To help those in need of temporary housing secure a job and to provide a healthy environment for them to live while getting back on their feet by providing encouragement, personal, spiritual and financial mentoring, and help in securing a permanent place to live.  “Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up…..” 1Thess. 5:11
3. To help people come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ and learn how to live and grow in their Christian life.
4. To maintain a positive Christian reputation so that those who support these facilities, NewSong Members, other churches and people living in our community, will continue to see that their contributions are given to a worthwhile, life building, and heart restoration Christian ministry.  To be a good steward of the labor, materials, and financial support provided by these contributors and always seek His will for this Ministry.

If you would like to partner with us, some of our needs include:

~Mentors: We assign a mentor to each resident.  There are many needs for positive male role models and varying degrees of commitment.  

~House of Grace: Electrical, plumbing, roofing and general refurbishing needs on the next house!

~Drivers: Transportation needs vary week by week.  An email is sent out on Sunday with the needs to be filled for work, medical and other transportation for the men.

~Tuesday Night Dinner and Bible Study:  Every Tuesday we provide a meal and Bible study for between 7-15 men.  We are always in need of people willing to make these meals.

~Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, tissue).

~Hygiene products (shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, combs, nail clippers, powder, deodorant, conditioner, caddies with a handle)

~Household items (cleaning supplies, trash bags, single bedding, pillows, towels, rugs)

~Food items (canned and packaged as well as meats, produce, dairy products, sweet tea and Kool-Aid, bread, and pre-made frozen meals).

~Financial Contributions: Tax-deductible donations can be made payable to NewSong Community Church with Cumming Home Ministry on the memo line.
