How to Join NewSong Community Church
NewSong Community Church and its members are part of a loving covenant that binds us to God and to each other. You are free to attend and participate in the activities and ministries of our church without ever becoming a member. However, becoming an official member of NewSong is a public acknowledgment that this is your family of faith, that this is your community that you covenant to love, to uphold, to serve, to shape, and by whom you are willing to be shaped, challenged, and sent forth to serve.
New members and friends are always welcome. As a non-denominational fellowship people come to us from a wide variety of experiences and faith-journeys. There are three basic ways to become a member of our church:
· By PROFESSION OF FAITH and BAPTISM if you have never been baptized.
· By REAFFIRMATION OF YOUR FAITH when you have been inactive in your faith or former church for a period of time.
· By TRANSFER OF CHURCH LETTER when you have been on the roll of another church.
As you join the church Pastor Steve will ask you one question: "Will you support our church with your time, talent, treasure and testimony?" Answering that question in the affirmative and then living the statement out is the only requirement we have for membership at our NewSong.
Should you wish to join, please simply see Pastor Steve, or contact him via email or by phone at 770-888-5212 and we will gladly receive you into full membership. For more information you may also want to visit our Welcome Center any Sunday morning prior to, or after, worship. There our guests are invited to pick up a visitor's packet containing information about how our church is organized, our history, beliefs, ministries, and much, much more.
